Juliet Jiang Receives NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program Award
Congratulations to Juliet Jiang, a trainee in the Duke Center for Computational and Digital Health Innovation, on receiving a 2025 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) award! The award will provide financial support for Ms. Jiang to pursue her research.
Ms. Jiang majors in Mathematics and Biomedical Engineering at Duke. Her research interests include mathematical/computational modeling, neurodegenerative diseases, and computational neuroscience. She is a member of the t.Dunn Lab at Duke and previously worked in the Randles Lab, where she was an author on the paper “Identifying When Steady-State Flow Simulations In Patient-Specific Coronaries Recapitulate Pulsatile Flow Dynamics.”
“Juliet is driven, endlessly curious, and one of the most motivated students I’ve had the pleasure of working with,” Amanda Randles,PhD, says. “Winning the NSF GRFP is just the beginning—I can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make as she heads to graduate school and beyond.”
In addition to the NSF GRFP award, Ms. Jiang is a SPIRE Fellow at Duke, has received the Barry Goldwater scholarship, and is a member of the Society of Women Engineers.
