About the Center
The Duke Center for Computational and Digital Health Innovation seeks to transform the future of healthcare by leveraging the latest technologies to tackle some of the most urgent health challenges.
We aim to pioneer new methods to find, track, and treat health conditions in real time, ensuring timely and precise interventions.
Our Mission
To revolutionize healthcare by advancing the frontiers of technology.
Our Approach
Our guiding principle—Find, Track, Treat—reflects our commitment to identifying health challenges, tracking disease progression, and developing impactful, personalized treatments.
Our work spans research, education, and community engagement, driving advances in proactive healthcare and training the next generation of scientists, engineers, and clinicians.
Through interdisciplinary collaboration across Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering, Trinity College of Arts & Sciences, School of Medicine, and School of Nursing, we draw from three enabling technologies: wearable sensors, high performance computing, and extended reality. These leading-edge tools empower us to push the boundaries of what is possible in health innovation.
By creating a collaborative ecosystem, we aim to integrate novel technologies and methodologies that improve patient outcomes and address critical health challenges. The Center fosters partnerships, connects to the broader scientific community, and provides unique opportunities for technical and professional development through workshops, seminars, and hands-on training.
